The soundtrack CD was reduced to an EP titled The Rapture EP and contains three tracks from the game remixed by Moby and Oscar the Punk. On April 23, 2007, the Cult of Rapture website confirmed that the Limited Collector's Edition would include a 6" tall Big Daddy figurine, a "Making of" DVD, and the official soundtrack. Soon after the petition reached its requirement, a poll on the Cult of Rapture website was posted where visitors could vote on what they would most like to see in a special edition, and the developers would take this poll into serious consideration with their final verdict. Five hours later, the number was met, and more than 14,000 had signed by the following day. Although the third entry received some criticism for being too focused on action over things like atmosphere or immersive sim-style gameplay mechanics, it still landed well with players, and the first two releases in the series are remembered as among the best first-person shooters of their era.On March 29, 2007, publisher 2K Games responded to a fan-created petition for a special edition of BioShock, stating that if the petition received 5,000 signatures, they would publish a BioShock Limited Collector's Edition of the game. Players are particularly excited about the prospect of a new BioShock game release considering the gap between entries the last game in the franchise, BioShock Infinite, came out on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013, with subsequent releases on the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The next entry in the BioShock series is suggested to have imaginative combat and general gameplay, which is exciting fans of the franchise. 2K Games' best-selling trilogy of single-player titles is best known for its atmosphere, satisfying gunplay, writing, and worldbuilding, making it a solid choice for anyone interested in action games with well-crafted narratives.
